Hutch man enters pleas in marijuana distribution case

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A local man charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and a number of other charges entered pleas to three of those charges Wednesday morning.

Tanner Evans entered a plea to the distribution charge as well as possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana. As part of the plea agreement, the state dropped other charges, including possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute and personal use paraphernalia.

The case goes back to Oct. 2, 2017. With the plea, he will be sentenced next month by District Judge Trish Rose.
