RENO COUNTY— Two people were injured in an accident just after 11:30 p.m. Saturday in Reno County

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Chevy Impala driven by Justin E. Herrell, 29, Hutchinson, was northbound on Kansas 61 on the south side of Partridge.

The Impala crossed the centerline and struck the back axles on the trailer of a southbound International semi driven by William E. McMillian, 44, Seymour, Missouri.

Herrell and McMillian were transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
