HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 27-year-old man was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center late Wednesday night when he apparently lost control of his vehicle and struck a local church.

Jonathon Denison was traveling on East First and struck the First United Methodist Church at First and Walnut.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Blood was also drawn on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He could be charged with reckless driving.

The investigation is ongoing.
