Hutchinson Police have made two arrest surrounding the stabbing of a Hutchinson man late Monday evening.

Police say it started at around 11:40 p-m when several people forced open the door at 633 East 4th in Hutchinson. Once inside Jeffrey Payne was physically attacked and stabbed. Payne was transported by private auto to the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center and later life watched to an undisclosed hospital for further treatment.

22-year-old Jordan Leshore of 223 West B was arrested for attempted 1st degree murder, aggravated battery, aggravated burglary and aggravated assault.

Leshore remains in the Reno County Detention Center with a $520,000.00 bond. Sean Carlos Arevalo Mendoza was arrested for aggravated burglary, conspiracy to commit aggravated battery and felony interference with law enforcement and has a $16,500.00 bond.

The Hutchinson Police Department also want to speak with Joseph Leshore, Desmond Cantu, Troy Bell and John Cantu in reference to this incident.
