Hutch Man Taken To Jail For Suspicion Of Two Burglaries

A 23-year-old Hutchinson man is jailed on a bond of 12-thousand, 500-dollars after he was arrested late Friday for two separate burglaries.

Christopher Marr is accused of entering the First Baptist Church at 800 North Main and causing some damage to the structure. That report coming in around 11:45 p-m. Charges include burglary of a non-dwelling, criminal damage to property and attempted theft.

Earlier, an employee of Tobacco Town at 411 North Adams reported that someone entered their store and taking miscellaneous items. Marr was arrested in the 200 block of West 4th, for burglary-non-dwelling, felony interference with law enforcement, criminal damage and attempted theft.

Unless he makes bond, he should make a first appearance on the charges Wednesday morning. The courthouse is closed till then for the Christmas holiday.
