Hutchinson Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early Thursday morning.
42-year-old Eddie Sparks of 17 North Maple says he was stabbed by an unknown individual after an altercation at his home. He was transported to Promise Regional Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries, which consisted of one stab wound to his chest. It apparently collapsed one of his lungs according to police.
Sparks told police that the suspect stood about 5-foot 6 to 5-foot 8, and weighed 140-to-150 pounds and was 20-to-30-years-old. He had shoulder length curly brown hair and was wearing a black t-shirt with a fox on the front.
Police were still investigating the case which happened about 12:16 a-m Thursday morning and no arrest have been made.
