The Hutchinson School Board Monday took an in-depth look at the district’s overall instructional program.
As part of Coherent Governance, the board examines all aspects of district instructional programs and operations each year. Monday’s review was on Operational Expectation No. 10: Instructional Program.
In short, the board examined how the district is moving to college and career ready standards while continuing to provide instruction tailored to meet the needs of each of nearly 5,000 district students.
To individualize instruction from the students facing the most challenges academically to the students needing the most academic challenges, the district uses Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports.
After the review, the board voted that the district was in compliance with OE 10.
