A 19-year-old Hutchinson man was jailed after he was seen using a debit card that allegedly belonged to a family member.

Tylor Schmidt of 1509 Linda Lane is charged with 15-counts of criminal use of a financial card, one count of theft and impairing a security interest.

He allegedly took the card and used it all over town over a three day period starting on July 10, and ending on July 12. The total comes to nearly 4-thousand dollars. Apparently, he was picked up on video according to Hutchinson Police Detective Dean Harcrow.

Schmidt should be back in court next week, if not sooner depending on if and when the state files formal charges.
