RENO COUNTY – One person was injured in an accident just before 8a.m. Tuesday in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Ford Taurus driven by Kyle Edward Cornett, 18, Hutchinson, was northbound on K14 three miles south of Nickerson.

The driver lost control of the vehicle. It went off the roadway to the right hit a fence.

Cornett was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
