Hutch woman arrested on multiple drug charges after shoplifting incident makes court appearance
A Hutchinson woman arrested on drug charges after she was allegedly caught shoplifting was unsuccessful in getting her 41-thousand, 500 dollar bond lowered.
The case starts with the report of a employee at the Dillon’s store at 206 West 5 th reporting a black female leaving the business without paying for merchandise. Police were able to locate Nicole McGinnis and arrested her for the shoplifting, but then discovered she had what police consider a sellers quantity of methamphetamine and other drugs.
Potential charges include possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of hydrocodone and oxycodone, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, no tax stamp and theft.
She was also advised of criminal trespass at that Dillon’s store after the incident occurred just before 9:30 a-m Wednesday morning.
