A 32-year-old Hutchinson women has been formally charged with felony theft for allegedly stealing money from a local Kwik Shop.

Julie Montandon was reportedly the manager of the convenience store at 17 th & Lorraine and is accused of stealing 28-thousand, 655-dollars prior to the date of January 29, 2012.

She was in court Wednesday for the formal reading of the charge associated with the alleged theft. She’s free on bond of 15-hundred dollars.

Her case will now be placed on a waiver-status docket.
