A Hutchinson woman arrested in the early morning hours of October 12 for allegedly breaking into a Hutchinson man’s home, battering him, then demanding cash last week was back in court this morning for the formal reading of charges.
41-year-old Dora Walker has been charged by the state with only two charges, aggravated burglary and misdemeanor battery.
57-year-old Robert Stout told police that a white female entered his residence without permission, battered him and demanded cash.
Police came to the scene and began looking for Walker. She was found in the 400 block of North Elm, then arrested. The incident reportedly occurring just after 2 a-m.
With the formal charges filed, the case will now be placed on a future waiver-status docket.
