HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 35-year-old woman who allegedly threatened her boyfriend with a knife has been formally charged.

Pleasure M. Torres is charged with aggravated assault, criminal threat, interference with law enforcement and criminal damage.

She allegedly came at her boyfriend with a knife after the two argued at their residence on East 8th. He blocked the attack with a small mattress, according to statements made in court. He apparently ran out of the home and was picked up by friends who happened to be driving down the street. She apparently followed him to another location where she also threatened a resident there. This allegedly occurred on Sept. 26.

She is also alleged to have caused some damage during all of this and became very upset when taken into custody.

Her case now moves to a waiver-status docket.
