HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 43-year-old woman suffered minor injuries early Tuesday when her vehicle struck the rear end of a semi on East 4th at Buhler Road.

Jennifer Mitchell of Hutchinson was eastbound when the accident occurred. The semi had stopped at the stop sign at the intersection and that’s when Mitchell struck the back of the truck.

Mitchell was transported by Reno County EMS to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment while the semi driver, 56-year-old Curtis Hauschild, was not injured.

The accident occurred just before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
