HutchCC Board of Trustees meets Thursday evening

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Community College Board of Trustees will meet in regular session Thursday evening. The board will take action on a proposed salary adjustment for classified and administrative staff.

Under the proposal, any salary increase for 2018-19 will be based on performance, market value, and scope of responsibility. The average increase can not exceed 3 percent.

The board will also enter into an agreement for sharing facilities with Hutchinson USD 308. The agreement covers the use of Gowans Stadium with the school district providing around $38,000 for the year. The college will add another $84,000 into the equation. Most of the money is set aside to replace the playing surface, which happens about every 10 years or so.

Thursday’s meeting of the Hutchinson Community College Board of Trustees begins at 7 p.m. at the Shear’s Technology Center.
