HutchCC celebrates paramedic pinning

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Community College celebrated the graduation of seven students in the school’s Paramedic Program. The pinning ceremony was held Monday at the Hutchinson Fire Department.

The HutchCC Paramedic Program is a 17 month associate of applied science degree. There are prerequisites to complete before applying for this program. Applicants must be EMT certified by either State of Kansas or National Registry, must have completed English Composition, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Mathematics, and General Psychology.

The school also works closely with the local fire departments and administrators throughout the state of Kansas to further the education process.
