HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The new semester at Hutchinson Community College begins next week.

Dr. Carter File, president of the college, talked about where the school stands with enrollment numbers. He called it a double-edged sword:

 

He admits that some of the low numbers have to do with the state of Kansas in general. He says the college must attract area residents to higher education:
