DODGE CITY, Kan. — The Hutchinson Salthawks defeated the Wichita North Redskins 60-45 to place 7th in the Tournament of Champions Saturday afternoon.

Hutchinson was equally matched in the first quarter and trailed only by two after one.

The Salthawks went on a run in the second quarter and took a 30-19 lead into halftime.

Hutchinson’s Tate Webster scored 25 points, secured eight rebounds and dished out six assists.

His fellow teammate, Jacob Cole, scored 13 points.

Weston Kraus had eight points for the Salthawks.

Hutchinson kept its advantage in the second half to finish off Wichita North 60-45.

The Salthawks shot 48 percent from the field and out-rebounded the Redskins by six.

Hutchinson High School waits until Friday, Jan. 25, to face Eisenhower High School at the Salthawk Activity Center at 7 p.m.
