HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Community College was recently awarded a $350,000 grant from the Sunderland Foundation for its upcoming cafeteria renovation project.

Jana McCarron, coordinator of grant development, announced the news during April’s board of trustees meeting at Hutchinson Community College.

 

Trustees also got an update on the various components of the strategic planning initiatives and received a report on the higher learning commission initiatives.

The next meeting of the board will be on Tuesday, May 7, at 8:00 p.m. in the Shears Technology Center Justice Theater.
