Hutchinson Fire crews responded to a house fire early Tuesday morning. The call came out around 5:33 a-m, at 204 East 7th.

Four occupants in the home were able to get out safely and were in the yard when fire units arrived. No one was injured.

The small single story home suffered extensive damage, and is believed to have started in the bathroom according to Hutchinson Fire Department Battalion Chief Rex Albright. That also caused extensive damage to the bathroom, two east bedrooms and the living room.

Albright says they have yet to determine a cause of the fire to the home the four were renting. Damage estimates were put at 20-thousand dollars to the structure and another 10-thousand dollars to its contents.

The Red Cross was brought into help the family.
