HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Fire crews responded Friday to the 600 block of Liberty for a structure fire. When they arrived, they found an ATV that was being stored on a utility trailer on fire. Prior to their arrival, the fire had spread to a detached garage and privacy fence. Crews were able to extinguish the fire before it extended to the house.

The fire was controlled in 10 minutes, while units remained on scene for 30 minutes, overhauling and monitoring for hot spots.

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
