Hutchinson Man Accused Of 2nd Degree Murder Scheduled To Enter Plea Monday

A Hutchinson man accused of stabbing another man to death back in November of last year is scheduled to be in court Monday to enter a plea in the case.

Aaron Alvarez is is accused of intentional murder in the 2nd degree for the killing of 23-year-old Allen Frank. He’s accused of stabbing Frank to death after the two got into an altercation after Alvarez may have accidentally struck Frank’s girlfriend. The two then argued and Alvarez stabbed Frank in the abdomen.

Frank was flown to Via-Cristi St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita where he died at around 12:29 a-m, on Thanksgiving morning. Alvarez was arrested on Thanksgiving day for intentional murder in the second degree.

Again, a plea is expected to be made in the case on July 23.
