Hutchinson man arrested for allegedly selling pot, formally charged.

A 22-year-old Hutchinson man faces a December 6 court hearing on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and no drug tax stamp.

Alexander Krepps was apparently in a vehicle that was stopped by a Reno County Sheriff’s Deputy for not having a drivers side mirror. This occurring back on November 9, at Avenue G and Airport Road.

The deputy then alleges he smelled marijuana, and reportedly saw a back pack on floor board near the back passenger seat. Krepps allegedly admitted the blue backpack was his. Inside, the deputy found a large Ziplock bag which contained suspected marijuana along with a digital scale. The marijuana weighed around 375-grams according to the sheriff department arrest report.

Krepps was in court Monday for the formal reading of the charges. He’s free on a 6-thousand dollar bond.
