A 57-year-old Hutchinson man was in court this morning for the formal reading of charges which includes 16-counts of making a false writing, and seven counts of theft by deception.
The spree with William Lemens of 317 West 7th, involves purchase orders from Westlake Hardware, and pawn receipts from Capital City Pawn, and Salt City Pawn and Jewelry, all in Hutchinson. This involves hundreds of dollars according to the numbers listed in the criminal complaint.
The alleged crimes occurring in a period from November 17 through 27, of last year.
In court, Lemens was read the 23-charges and bond is set at 7-thousand, 500-dollars.
With the charges filed, the case will now be set on a future waiver-status docket.
