A 41-year-old Hutchinson man charged in a meth manufacturing case that apparently goes back to September of last year was bound over for trial Tuesday and also saw his bond increased.

Christopher Harrison is charged with manufacture of methamphetamine or in the alternative, attempted manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of ephedrine, lithium metal and anhydrous ammonia all with intent to manufacture meth, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to cultivate more then five plants of marijuana, possession of anhydrous ammonia in an unapproved container, personal use drug paraphernalia and interference with law enforcement and no drug tax stamp.

The charges allege he was involved with the manufacture of meth on September 1, 2012. He was arrested on a warrant for the case on January 29.

His bond in this case set at 100-hundred thousand dollars and at the end of the hearing, his attorney requested a reduction, while the state asked for increase citing his criminal history including so the bond was increased by Judge Joe McCarville to 150-thousand dollars.

Harrison is no stranger to the law and prison having served time for drugs, flee and elude, attempted drug sales, aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer and burglary. Those convictions go back as far as 1994.

He was discharged from prison for those convictions on March of 2008.
