HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A man convicted of aggravated assault was granted a year of probation with a two-year underlying sentence.

Bryan Corral was convicted of putting the victim in fear of being harmed when he threatened her with a butterfly knife on July 4.

He was also ordered to pay $193 in court costs as part of the sentence.
