HALSTEAD, Kan. — A Hutchinson man was injured when he was hit by a car while walking along U.S. 50 last night.

The Kansas Highway patrol reports that 34-year-old Timothy Black was walking along the highway around 10 p.m. when he was hit by a west bound car driven by Devon Liniger of Halstead.

Black was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. His condition is not known at this time. Liniger was uninjured after his car left the road and ended up in the ditch.

The accident occurred just east of Hertzler Road, just north of Halstead.
