Hutchinson Man Jailed On New Charges Associated With Drugs

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

A 26-year-old Hutchinson man who has been under supervision for violating the Kansas Offender Registration Act in 2012, is in trouble again, this time for drugs.

Kenneth Alan Socha was arrested Thursday for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of K-2 and drug paraphernalia.

Apparently, there was an arrest and detain order issued for a violation of his community corrections, and when officers went to his home, they allegedly discovered the drugs. This at 106 North Chemical.

He made a first appearance Friday morning where he was told of the potential charges.

You may also remember Socha for a conviction in 2008 for indecent liberties with a child.

Bond in his case is set at 23-thousand 500-dollars. He should be back in court next week, once the state files formal charges.
