HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A local man was in court Thursday for the reading of a charge of unlawful sexual relations in a case that was actually filed in Oct. of 2015.

William Shaw is charged in the case for allegedly being involved in a voluntary sexual relationship with a female child who was between 14 and 16 years of age. He was approximately four years older then the child at the time according to the criminal complaint.

The crimes occurring in the city of Hutchinson and allegedly occurred on Jan. 3, 2015.

Shaw is free on bond and the case will now proceed to a waiver-status docket.
