A 36-year-old McPherson man facing charges in two cases is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Thursday in front of Judge Joe McCarville.

Although the two cases against Ryan Peterson are filed separately, they apparently occurred on the same day.

One charges him with possession of stolen property when he was allegedly in possession of a stolen Lincoln welder.

The second case involves him allegedly manufacturing methamphetamine or in the alternatve, attempted manufacture, as well as being in possession of some of the items used to make meth. That includes possession of ephedrine, lithium and anhydrous ammonia all with intent to manufacture meth.

This after a search by Drug Unit Detectives on June 6, 2012.

Peterson is no stranger to law enforcement having been convicted of possession of drugs, paraphernalia and possession of ephedrine and unlawful manufacture. Those crimes occurring in February of 2006.
