Kansas Cannons couldn’t get anything going so long as Anthony Mendoza was on the hill. Mendoza held Kansas Cannons hitless over 3 1/3 innings, allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out two.

Ryan Scoles recorded the win for Kansas Cannons. He allowed three runs over eight innings. He struck out five, walked two and surrendered six hits.

The top of the first saw Kansas Cannons take an early lead, 1-0. Ty Kildow got things going for Kansas Cannons with a single. A stolen base then moved Kildow from first to second. Tory Stoffregen singled, scoring Kildow.

The game’s last lead went to Kansas Cannons thanks to a fifth inning rally that saw three runs cross the plate on an error and two singles.
