
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Wednesday night, Hutchinson Police officers were out in the unit block of West 5th. They stopped eastbound traffic and made contact with 158 drivers as part of their “Buckle Up Hutch” seat belt program.
They gave four adult seat belt warnings and two child restraint warnings. One of those was an improperly installed car seat. The driver was shown the correct way to install her car seat.
The majority of those stopped were buckled up according to their Facebook post.
