Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System honored 102 employees representing more than 1,100 years of combined service at a reception held at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center on March 6, 2013.
Service anniversaries included 47 employees with five years of service; 24 with ten years; 9 with 15 years; and 10 with 20 years. Six HRHS employees achieved 25 years of service and an additional four with 35 years.
The honorees were made up of employees from a cross section of departments and work groups within HRHS.
Twenty-five year employees are Patricia Butler, Accounting; Donna Orpin, Emergency; Bonnie Russ, Perianesthesia; Teresa Sams, Environmental Services; Lois Scates, Food and Nutrition Services; and Shawn Traffas, Reno County EMS.
Those with 35 years of service are Susan Kauffman, Information Systems; Mary Luman, LDRP; Trice Mott, Ray E. Dillon Living Center; and Dale Shafer, Plant Operations.
Each of the more than 100 employees honored at the reception were presented with a gold badge listing their years of service employment with HRHS.
Kevin Miller, President and CEO of HRHS, speaking at the reception, thanked the employees for their commitment to the organization and its patients.
“The longevity of their service is indicative of a hard working and dedicated employee group at HRHS, that goes the extra mile to provide high quality healthcare to our patients and clients,” Miller said.” I couldn’t be more proud of the HRHS family that stands as a model to all healthcare facilities.”
The Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System employs approximately 1,400 individuals, and includes the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Ray E. Dillon Living Center, Horizons Mental Health Center, Hospice and HomeCare of Reno County, Health E-Quip, and the Hutchinson Regional Medical Foundation.
