DICKINSON COUNTY– A Hutchinson woman  avoided injury in an accident just after 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday in Dickinson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Honda Civic driven by Antonio Quiroz-Hernandez, 48, Great Bend, was eastbound on Interstate 70 just west of Mink Road.

The vehicle was following a and rear-ended a 2014 Nissan passenger vehicle driven by Lindsey D. Cadle, 30, Hutchinson.

Quiroz-Hernandez was transported to the hospital in Abilene.

Cadle was not injured.

Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
