HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A local woman was before a judge Friday morning on charges associated with a domestic case from August.

Anastasia Patterson has been charged by the state with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, domestic battery, battery of a law enforcement officer and interference with law enforcement.

The assault case is for threatening a man with a knife. She is also charged with striking the victim and a police officer.

She was also charged with interference for resisting arrest and removing the handcuffs an officer had placed on her.

This occurred during a disturbance call back on Aug. 16.

With the charges filed, the case now moves to a waiver-status docket.
