RENO COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 5p.m. Wednesday in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Toyota Camry driven by Valerie Diane Hornbaker, 63, Hutchinson, was northbound on N Poplar at Lake Talbot at the Kansas State Fairgrounds. The driver failed to negotiate a slight curve.

The vehicle left the roadway to the right, struck a tree, overturned and landed on its top.

EMS transported Hornbaker to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
