A 49-year-old Hutchinson woman who is scheduled for a preliminary hearing for a possession of meth with intent to distribute case later this week can add another case to her list.

Dinah Sanchez Loredo was arrested Friday for again being in possession of meth with intent to sell. She apparently was caught with the drugs and paraphernalia and made a court appearance on the charges Tuesday morning.

Deputy District Attorney Tom Stanton was present for the first appearance and told the judge of her having large quantity of drugs in previous cases including over a pound after going to Wichita. He asked that the 100-hundred thousand dollar bond stay the same considering she was on bond in the other case when the latest arrest was made. Magistrate Judge Randy McEwen agreed and left the bond the same. If she makes the bond, she is also not allowed to leave the county.

She had been arrested back in early November, along with 37-year-old Nathasha Willm for having meth and both are scheduled for a preliminary hearing Thursday on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute meth, no drug tax stamp, and interference with law enforcement. Willm is also charged with felony flee and elude.

This case starts with Reno County Drug Unit detectives attempting to stop a silver Chevy Impala at K-96 and McNew Road which Willm was reportedly driving. She allegedly refused to stop for a marked sheriff’s department vehicle, but eventually was stopped. However, during the chase, Sanchez-Loredo who was a passenger in the vehicle allegedly threw out several bags of methamphetamine, and a plastic cup that contained meth and bleach. It apparently hit the hood of a sheriff’s vehicle when she threw it. Detective Shawn McClay says there was also an open box of sandwich bags on the passenger side floorboard.

Stanton in court Tuesday made reference to the bleach hitting the officers vehicle when arguing against a reduction in bond after the initial arrest.
