WICHITA – 54-year-old Toni J. Bennett, of Syracuse is charged with one count of embezzlement by a bank employee.

The indictment alleges that while Bennett was an employee of Valley State Bank in Syracuse, she embezzled 119-thousand, 451-dollars from the bank.

The crime is alleged to have occurred from May 2005 to February 2011 in Hamilton County.

If convicted, she faces a maximum penalty of 30 years in federal prison and a fine up to $1 million.
