TOPEKA – Two Wisconsin men have been indicted on charges of possessing more than 200-pounds of marijuana.
72-year-old Phillip Snyder, of Plover, Wis., and 44-year-old Sean Wipfli, of Nekoosa, Wis., are charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute more than 100 kilograms (more than 220 pounds) of marijuana. The crime is alleged to have occurred Dec. 15, 2011, in Lyon County.
If convicted, they face a penalty of not less than five years and not more than 40 years in federal prison and a fine up to $2 million.
