HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A meeting sponsored by the non-partisan group, Citizens for the Moderation of Our Democracy, (the MOD Squad), is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 28, from 7 and 8:30 p.m. in the Blue Dragon Room in the Student Union on the Hutchinson Community College campus.

Speaker for the evening will be Dr. Ed Berger who is considering a run for the Senate seat currently held by Terry Bruce. He’ll share his thoughts and will then field questions from the audience.

The MOD Squad is looking for moderate-minded people who would like to work on ways to bring common sense back to our state. Their mission is to engage and inspire change in public policy by facilitating a healthy democracy for all Kansans.
