YODER, Kan. — One person was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center after a two-vehicle accident just before 5 p.m. Tuesday.

It happened at the intersection of Yoder Road and Longview Road when 27-year-old Sara Gilbert of Haven was driving north on Yoder Road. A truck driving southbound attempted to turn left on Longview Road when Gilbert struck it with her car. She complained of lower leg pain and was treated by EMS. Gilbert was then transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The driver of the other vehicle was 86-year-old Lamoine Miller of Hutchinson. Miller had a laceration on his face and complained of chest pain from the airbag deployment. He was treated and released by EMS at the scene.
