HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Jeff Nichols was elected president of the USD 308 Board of Education for the 2015-16 school term during the annual organizational meeting of the body Monday. Tad Dower was elected vice president.

The Board also welcomed three new members – Randall Gray, Greg Meredith and Lance Patterson. The trio was elected in April and took their seats Monday.

A fourth individual elected in April – Jennifer Mora Cook – will be moving out of district and sent a letter of resignation to the board.

Monday’s meeting took care of legal, but largely routine, business to start the school term.
