Jennison takes over Kansas State Fair

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The changing of the guard at the Kansas State Fair is official.

Robin Jennison took over the reins of the “Great Kansas Get Together” Monday morning. Jennison replaces Sunsan Sankey, who left the fair last year to take a job with 4-H. Bob Moeder was the interim GM for the past year.

Jennison takes over in the midst of many potential changes for the fair, including the new sales tax and a possible new master plan, which could see major changes coming to the fairgrounds.

Jennison has been replaced at the Kansas Department of Wildlife Parks and Tourism by Linda Craghead as interim secretary.
