Jennison talks about first fair as general manager

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — As we told you on Monday, Robin Jennison took over the reins of the Kansas State Fair this week.

Jennison says his first look at the fair from an employee standpoint certainly gave him a different perspective. He says, for the most part, the fair went well. Although, he did receive a lot of feedback regarding the elimination of the trolley system this year:

 

Jennison says the fair is staffed with good employees, but the grounds themselves and how they may change in the future will present some challenges. Jennison addressed some of those needs:

 

For the most part, Jennison says the fair is on solid ground, but did admit some things need to be changed.
