District Judge Trish Rose earlier this week took under advisement whether a Hutchinson man is guilty of charges associated with the distribution of marijuana. She’s now issued a written opinion finding him guilty of all four counts. She had earlier denied the defense request to suppress evidence seized in the case against 30-year-old Thomas Delvalle.

He’s now guilty of having over 13-pounds of marijuana in his home in brick form that officials say was a distribution amount.

The decision by the judge comes after she held a brief bench trial Monday on stipulated facts, and Judge Rose took any decision on guilt under advisement.

Charges against Delvalle include possession of marijuana with intent to sell or distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to package for distribution, and no drug tax stamp. This after a search of his home at 3321 Farmington back on March 25 of last year.

Sentencing in the case is set for November 4th, and Delvalle does have a previous conviction for having a distribution quantity of marijuana in a case that goes back in 2006, around 7 or 8 pounds. That will effect the amount of time he could receive at sentencing.
