One of two people arrested back on June 1, after a standoff with police is back in jail after Judge Joe McCarville ordered her to jail with no bond until a hearing can determine if that bond should be revoked.

24-year-old Kayla Elizabeth Salyer faces charges of aggravated battery, aggravated kidnapping, criminal threat, aggravated assault and interference with law enforcement over the incident.

She made bond of 119-thousand, 500-dollars with the condition that she not have any contact with the victim in the case against her. Hutchinson Police Detective Tyson Myers indicates that there was contact on July 20, so the state filed a motion to revoke and Judge McCarville scheduled a hearing on that motion for Friday.

The case started around 2 a-m, that Friday morning at the Ridgewood Apartments at 32nd Terrace and Garden Grove Parkway, apparently involving Salyer and another woman. The unknown female called 911 several times saying she had been forced into an apartment at gun point, then alleges she was pistol whipped. But, she somehow managed to escape.

Police then got word that Kayla and Paul Salyer were still held up in the apartment, but were for a longtime unable to be reached. Police used a loud speaker to try to get their attention and make contact, and they eventually came out without incident.

43-year-old Paul Salyer is charged with interference with law enforcement and his bond was left at 15-hundred dollars.
