Juvenile arrested in association with McPherson murder case

MCPHERSON, Kan. — An arrest has been made in the murder of a 22-year-old man in McPherson.

Police arrested a 17-year-old juvenile for the murder of Jordan Krell. The juvenile faces possible charges of first-degree murder, burglary, theft, and possession of stolen property.

The case started around 12:25 a.m. Monday when police were dispatched to the Mustang Mobile Home Park on the report of gunshots being fired. When they arrived on the scene, officers located the body of Krell, who was unconscious and unresponsive. Krell suffered apparent gunshot wounds.

His body was found in an empty lot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
