HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The USD 308 Board of Education Thursday in a special meeting appointed Kail Denison as the newest member of the body.

Denison replaces Stephanie King who resigned in August because her family was moving out of district.

Also applying for the position were Susie Ray, Dorothy Barnett, Michael Mendoza and Katie M. Perez

The board also voted to approve the 2015-16 negotiated agreement with NEA-Hutchinson. The agreement was agreed upon last week after several negotiations sessions over the spring and summer.

The next regular meeting of the Board will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Sep. 14, 2015.
