KINGMAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 6p.m. Thursday in Kingman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Toyota Tundra pulling a trailer carrying a Toyota 4-Runner and driven by Jeffrey Gibson, 47, Wichita, was traveling northeast on Kansas 2 just south of 160th Avenue.
The truck went left of center and struck a 2007 Chevy pickup pulling a fifth-wheel camper and driven by Dale Schimpf, 83, Vergennes, Illinois, in the southbound lane.
Gibson was transported to the hospital in Wichita. Schimpf and passengers in both vehicles were not injured. All four were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
