Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center wins Best Training Facility

YODER, Kan. — The Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center near Yoder has been awarded Best Training Facility for 2019 by WolfVision, a manufacturer of presentation and collaboration solutions.

KLETC won the award for implementing WolfVision’s Cynap and vSolution MATRIX platforms in the KLETC classrooms.

“I am pleased that the KLETC staff has received this well-deserved international recognition for its hard work and creativity,” KLETC Executive Director Darin Beck said. “We are committed to providing the best training to Kansas law enforcement officers so that they, in turn, can keep our communities safe.”

Projects from all over the world were nominated by WolfVision regional managers and the winners were selected on the scope of their project, the utilization of the system capabilities, and the impact the solution has on the community it serves. KLETC stood out among entries in all three categories and was distinguished for its comprehensive use of the system’s functionality. “The classrooms are perfectly designed with cutting-edge technology to support the changes we are implementing in the training programs, ranging from smaller classes to competency driven curriculum presented using team-focused, interactive training methodology,” Director Beck said.

KLETC uses the WolfVision systems to route live presentation materials and multimedia, giving participants the ability to use their personal devices to present and interact with presented content, while also allowing remote attendees to join the session via video conference.
